This is my 31st year teaching at N.E.I.S.D.  Over the years, I have taught English I-G.T, IV, Creative Writing, Humanities, Painting, AP Art History, Graphic Design, and Art I/II honors,  Ap Art History, Ap portfolio Drawing and Design. 

I have written curriculum for N.E.I.S.D for the Humanities, Fine Art Supplement for the English I content area and the 9th grade Gifted and Talented course, as well as the art curriculum.

Additionally,  I have presented to teachers K-12 at the McNay Art Museum using strategies that incorporate visual art as a prompt for writing and critical thinking across the curriculum. 

Sharing Art to promote rich thinking, inspire new creations and understandings is my passion. 

In my free time I continue to work with ink, paint and printmaking.

I continue to love to read, write, think, and make; hopefully, I inspire my students to do the same.
