If you're on this page, that means I am your teacher for English II or English II Honors. I look forward to a spectacular year of learning with you! 

My goal as an educator is to help students make new connections with one another, challenge conventions, and engage in learning enthusiastically. I aim to create and foster a learning environment that encourages a kind of spirited playfulness in the classroom. I think that students should be given a chance to make mistakes, express themselves, and be a little silly every now and then. Not every lesson can be fun and games, but every class period can be positive and welcoming.
