Mrs. Melinda Parham
I am very excited to be the ELA and Reading Resource teacher for the Deaf or Hard of Hearing here at Churchill!
A bit about myself, I love singing, reading, and spending time with my family (which includes two adorable fur-pups named Moose and Ginger)! My favorite food is sushi and I love coffee and dark chocolate!
I received my bachelor's degree from Fresno Pacific University in 2012 and my Master’s degree from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2016. In 2023, I completed the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Graduate Certification Preparation Program with Texas Tech University and will be completing the Certification Preparation Program for the DeafBlind this Summer with them as well.
My 17 year work history encompasses teaching students from preschool to the age of 22 in a variety of roles: as an instructional aide, a behavioral aide and finally, as a credentialed/certified Teacher.
I appreciate the opportunity to support ALL learners and am convinced that every student is capable of learning! I'm passionate about providing opportunities and support, as needed, while students navigate through their educational experiences.
