Mr. Chris Howell

Churchill High School

Mr. Howell brings over 25 years of leadership and healthcare experience to the classroom. A retired U.S. Army medic and healthcare officer, he served in various roles during his 20-year military career, including leading medical teams in both clinical and training environments. After transitioning to civilian life, Mr. Howell continued his passion for service through education.

He currently teaches Health Science courses at Churchill High School, where he focuses on helping students explore healthcare careers through hands-on learning, real-world skills, and professional development. Mr. Howell believes in building trust, fostering curiosity, and creating a classroom where every student can discover their potential.

He is currently completing a master’s degree in Higher Education from Liberty University and holds certifications in Kirkpatrick evaluation, DiSC, and change management.

When he’s not teaching, Mr. Howell leads workshops for veterans and enjoys spending time with his family.
