Mrs. Brandi Gomez
Hi! My name is Brandi Gomez, and I am thrilled to be continuing to support Roan Forest students this year! This will be my twenty-fourth year teaching, and my eleventh year in North East ISD.
I grew up in Bulverde, and graduated from Smithson Valley High School. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Child Study and Language Development from Southwestern University, in Georgetown, Texas, as well as a master's degree in reading education from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma. I have taught 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades, as well as have served as a dyslexia intervention teacher, a reading intervention teacher, and a Special Education Co-Teacher.
My husband and I have been married for 20 years and have a son and a daughter who participate in the dual language program in North East ISD. We are so excited to be able to raise our family in San Antonio, with our extended family close. Through all of our life travels, San Antonio has always felt like home.
As a family, our interests include traveling (especially to Disney World), enjoying the beach, and just having fun together.
