Welcome! 

My name is Lucia Butler. San Antonio has been my home since 2012.  I lived in Houston for 6 years and lived in Dallas prior to that for more than 30 years. I have always lived in big cities, even though I was born in the small town of Nuevo Laredo in Mexico. I have two wonderful kids. Jonathan is 23 years old and Jazmin is 19 years old. I enjoy teaching and have been a bilingual teacher for the last 23 years. Roan Forest has been my home for the last 13 years, and I am proud to be part of its community. Prior to that, I worked in the business world. I have to say that teaching is a lot more rewarding, and gives me great satisfaction.I like to have fun with my students and create a loving learning community in our classroom.

Hola mi nombre es Lucia Butler. San Antonio ha sido mi hogar desde 2012. Viví en Houston durante 6 años y viví en Dallas antes de eso por más de 30 años. Siempre he vivido en grandes ciudades a pesar de que nací en la pequena ciudad de Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas en México. Tengo dos hijos maravillosos, Jonathan es mi hijo de 23 años y Jazmin es mi hija de 19 años.  He sido maestra bilingüe durante 23 años, los cuales 13 de ellos he sido parte de la comunidad de Roan Forest. Anteriormente, trabajé en el mundo de los negocios. Debo decir que la enseñanza es mucho más gratificante y me da una mejor satisfacción. Me gusta divertirme con mis alumnos y crear una comunidad de amor a la educación.
