Mr. Mercer Comander

Mr. Comander is a first-year teacher at Bush Middle School. He obtained his Bachelors of Management from UTSA in May 2023 and earned his alternative teacher certification through Teachworthy. Throughout the 2022-2023 school year, he gained experience as a substitute teacher in both Northside and Boerne ISDs. Finally, he is thrilled to have his own classroom and the opportunity to shape young minds.

Mr. Comander maintains a firm demeanor in the classroom, driven by his desire to see his students excel and become active participants in their own education. His emphasis on technology-based skills is rooted in the belief that these abilities are not only relevant in day-to-day life but also crucial for their future professional endeavors. He takes pride in the fact that the knowledge his students gain in technology courses will have a lasting impact on their personal and career growth.
