Howdy! 

 I am so excited to kick off a new school year!  With 26 years of teaching experience, I still feel the same enthusiasm and passion I had on day one. Every year brings new faces, fresh energy, and opportunities to grow together. My goal is to create an inspiring and supportive learning environment where every student can thrive. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Brownsville (now UTRGV) in 1999 and my Masters in Educational Leadership in 2018 from Lamar University.  

I am an empty nester with three amazing grown kids and one spoiled fur baby, Hank. Outside the classroom, I enjoy taking long walks, hiking, and exploring nature. I love reading, but also enjoy binge-watching a great series! I am looking forward to a fantastic year ahead!
