• North East ISD trustees serve four-year terms, and elections are held during even numbered years. Trustees are elected by voters in the single member district (SMD) in which they currently reside. Please check your single member district before filing for candidacy or heading to the polls. 

    The North East ISD held an election on Saturday, May 4, 2024.  Trustee Positions 1, 4, 5 and 6 were on the ballot to serve a four-year term. Additionally, a special election was held to fill the vacancy in Single Member District (SMD) 2. Since the vacancy is an un-expired term, Position 2 will be on the ballot again in 2026. 

    The unofficial May 2024 election results can be found here on the Bexar County Elections webpage. The results will be official when the Board of Trustees canvasses the votes in a public meeting scheduled for May 14, 2024 at 5:30 p.m.
