Lettering Policies for Journalism, Speech and Debate, and Theatre can be found on the program's eligibility page. ExpectationsUIL Academics at NEISD offers a comprehensive afterschool program for both high school and middle school students. Our high school programs feature weekly practice sessions, invitational meet competitions, and active participation in the UIL season. Additionally, our middle school programs include a minimum of two in-district practice meets and a divisional district meet, fostering healthy competition between our small and large schools. In addition to these offerings, we've recently expanded participation opportunities by introducing intramural contests at select elementary schools.
