What essential documents are required for enrollment?
Essential documents for enrollment include Proof of Residence, Parent/Guardian ID, Immunization Records, and Birth Certificate or equivalent. A Social Security card is recommended but not required.
Birth Certificate or Equivalent: A certified copy of a birth certificate, valid passport or vital statistics document is required.
Immunization Records: Current immunization records or exemption documents are accepted. View our NEISD Health Services Immunization Requirements for more details.
Parent/Guardian ID: A valid ID is required from a parent or guardian.
Proof of Residence: Homeowners can provide a recent utility bill (water or electric) while renters submit a current signed lease. Military families may provide military orders and must submit proof of residence within 90 days. For unique cases, an 'Establishing Proof of Residency' form may need to be completed.
Social Security Card: A Social Security number is ideal as it is used for state reporting purposes via the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS). Students without one will be issued a State ID for PEIMS purposes, per TEC §25.001(b)(5).

How can I create a username and password for the NEISD registration portal?
Parents will need to visit North East ISD Registration portal to create a user name and password. You will be asked if you have already created an Online Registration account or if you are a returning NEISD family. Yes – will prompt you to enter in your log in information. NO – will direct you to create a username and password.
Password Requirements:
- Length – At least 6 characters long.
- Complexity – Must include at least one of each of the following:
- Lowercase letter (a-z)
- Uppercase letter (A-Z)
- Number (0-9)
- Special character (!, @, #, etc.)
Tip: Write down your username and password, as you will need them multiple times during registration.

What if I cannot remember my username and/or password?
Click on the link Forgot your username or password? You will need to know the email address used when you created your registration account.

Am I able to use my smart phone device to complete the online registration process?
Yes, our registration process is mobile friendly. You can even take pictures of your student’s registration documents and load them directly in to the online registration platform.

Is the information I enter about my student on the online registration site secure?
We prioritize the confidentiality and security of your student's information. Rest assured; all data entered in the online registration site is:
- Strictly Confidential: Your student's information is treated with the utmost confidentiality.
- Securely Stored: Information is stored on secure servers, rigorously protected against unauthorized access.
- Monitored for Security: Our security partner, Security Metrics Inc., continuously monitors these servers to ensure they meet the highest security standards.

Am I required to upload my student documents to online registration?
We highly recommend you upload your student documents directly to online registration to expedite the registration process. Our online platform is mobile friendly and allows mobile phone photos to be uploaded. If needed, the campus data processor can accept paper copies, but all registration details are collected online.

How long does it take to complete the online registration process?
It takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete all the forms. The process will be quicker if you have all documents and information ready before you begin. You can save your progress at any time and complete the forms later by clicking on the Save link.

How do I edit an existing registration?
You can edit your student’s registration information by logging in and clicking on the section you want to edit.

I do not have a computer or mobile phone; how can I register my student?
All NEISD campuses can provide a computer, Chromebook or iPad for registration. We welcome you to contact your campus data processor so we can assist you on campus with completing the online registration.

What happens after I complete the online registration process?
Once you complete all forms and click the Verify and Sign page, the campus data processor assigned to your home address will be notified via email. You may also contact the campus data processor to check if any additional documentation is required.
