Step-By-Step Enrollment Process
New to the District?
If this is your first time enrolling a student in NEISD, you will need to create a registration account. This account will allow you to start and track your enrollment progress.
Started registration?
If you've already begun the registration process and need to finish or update any information, simply log in to continue.
Already part of NEISD?
If your student is already enrolled in NEISD and you need to reigster a new student or update records, you can use Skyward Family Access to manage their information.

Accepted Required Documents

Birth Certificate or Equivalent
A certified copy of the student’s birth certificate is required. Alternatively, a valid passport or a vital statistics document is acceptable.

Immunization Records
Acceptable documents include current up to date immunization record or records for exemption from immunization for reason of conscience. For detailed requirements, please visit NEISD Health Services Immunization Requirements.

Parent/Guardian Identification
To ensure a secure enrollment process, we'll need a government issued ID from a parent or guardian.

Proof of Residence
To confirm your local address, homeowners must provide a recent utility bill (full page copy of water, gas, or electric).
Renters should present a current signed lease agreement with the parent or guardian listed as the leaseholder or occupant.
For unique living situations, an 'Establishing Proof of Residency' form must be completed by the parent or guardian and homeowner or leaseholder.
Military families must provide a copy of military orders requiring transfer to a military installation in or near the district’s attendance zone. Proof of residence must be provided within 90 days of the arrival date.
Please note, no subleasing or room rentals are permitted.

Social Security Number
While not required, Social Security numbers are used for the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS). Students without a Social Security number will be issued a State ID for PEIMS purposes, per TEC §25.001(b)(5).

Start now! You can begin the online registration process today. It’s easy to start, save, and return to your application at any time. Avoid long lines on the first day of school—enroll early!

Am I required to upload documents to complete registration?
Yes. To complete and process your student’s registration, all required documents must be uploaded to the online registration form.

I don’t have access to a computer or mobile phone. How can I register my student?
High School Registration (June 9 – July 16):
Campus registrars and counseling clerks can help you register in person.
Find your campus here or call your local school directly.Elementary & Middle School Registration:
You can schedule an appointment at Central Office to use a district computer lab.

What happens after I complete the online registration?
High School Students:
Once your registration is submitted and documents are uploaded, the campus Registrar will process the information. You’ll receive an email with a link to schedule a course selection appointment with the high school counselor.- Appointments are available in person or virtually.
- You’ll choose the date and time that works best for you.
- A confirmation email will be sent once your appointment is scheduled.
📚 During your appointment, you and your student will:
- Select courses for the 2025–2026 school year
- Receive important information about the upcoming year
- Ask questions about academics or the registration process
Elementary & Middle School Students:
- Once your registration is processed by a registration specialist, you’ll receive a confirmation email with next steps.
