I have been a Reagan staff member since the school's inception in 1999.  In that time, I have been with the English Department the entire time, and I have served Reagan as its Head Tennis Coach.  The school has certainly evolved and grown over the last 20+ years.  Though I have taught various levels of English, I have found my home at English III AP -- Language and Composition, which I have taught for the last 13 years.  The students consistently impress me with their growth in communication and expression, and we are proud of our students who consistently score above the national average on the AP Lang and Comp Exam.  I have also been blessed with many great tennis players through the years as the Reagan tennis team has set a high bar for excellence:  winning 12 District Championships in Team Tennis, 5 Regional Final appearances, becoming a fixture in the TTCA Top 20 teams in 6A in the state of Texas, and qualifying many individual players for the state tournament.  Many of our players have gone on to play collegiate tennis, but more importantly, our players have gone on successful careers in all sorts of paths from foreign ambassadors to news anchors to successful business men and women to medical professionals and, yes, teachers.
