Thanks for wanting to get to know a little more about me. I can't wait to meet you and possibly have the opportunity to teach your child. I love teaching elementary music because music was such an important part of my own childhood. Since I was a young child I have loved singing. I used to make my family sing every time we rode in the car and would give them voice lessons if they sang incorrectly. I attended elementary school in Mexico and participated in Choir, Folklorico, and Guitar classes. I discovered I had a talent for reading music when I went to Krueger Middle School in NEISD and sang in the choir there. I later attended The International School of The Americas, also in NEISD. I sang in the Lee High School choir and danced in their dance team. I went to UTSA where I had the pleasure of singing in many ensembles. 
After college, I taught at SAISD, where I met my husband, Matthew Trevino, who is also a music teacher. I have called Steubing Ranch my home since 2012. In 2013, I had our son Mateo, who coincidentally loves to sing in the car also. In 2018, my son Marco was born and he never misses an opportunity to dance.
