Sarah Posados

My name is Sarah Posados. I am so excited about joining the Northwood family as a second grade teacher this year! I graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and received my degree in Elementary Education. This year will be my ninth year teaching. I previously taught first grade for eight years at Clear Creek ISD located in the Houston area. Last year I was named "Teacher of the Year" on my elementary campus. I was so honored to receive that award and look forward to continuing to grow as an educator in Northeast ISD. Growing up, I knew I was meant to become a teacher. I desire to teach because I have a heart of compassion for children. I have found each child has the best intentions and the purest heart. Each student will know that I care about them and care about their success. My goal in teaching is for each child to understand that anything they put their mind to they can be successful.
