Ms. Mariah Marhofer

Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. This will be my fifth year teaching and my fourth year at Northwood Elementary. I’m originally from Boerne, TX, and I’m the oldest of five girls in my family. In my free time, I enjoy reading, cooking, Pilates/barre, and playing Mahjong with friends.

I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early Childhood from Texas A&M University. Over the past 12 years, I’ve had the privilege of working with children from Pre-K through 6th grade in a variety of educational settings and programs. These experiences have shaped my passion for engaging learning opportunities for all students.

In my classroom, every child is a valued, trusted, and integral part of our classroom family. I am committed to fostering a rich, inclusive environment where students feel safe to take risks, connect, grow, and thrive. I use a variety of instructional strategies that include technology integration, whole-body learning, and real-life application to support educational goals.
