Hi! My name is Minette Luetkenhaus. I graduated from Texas State University with a degree in elementary education specializing in reading.  I am certified to teach 1st-8th grade.  This will be my 15th year teaching and my 5th in first grade.  Before teaching at Northwood, I taught 2nd grade in another district for nine years.  

I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 26 years.  We have 3 sons who are are mostly grown but still keep us busy.  We love college football, especially Texas A&M, where our middle son is a member of the Corps of Cadets.  Most weekends in the fall, if we are not at a sporting event with our youngest, we are in College Station at a football game!

I love Northwood and our community!  All 3 of my boys attended Northwood from kindergarten to fifth grade, so I had a student at Northwood for 13 years!  During that time, I served our little school as a member of the PTA, PTA President, volunteer, and substitute teacher. 

I truly love our school and community with all my heart and feel so lucky to teach these little Unicorns daily!
