Welcome to Kindergarten! I'm Tina Galindo. I grew up in the Northeast and graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I completed my Master’s Degree from Benedictine University in Chicago.  I hold certifications in ELL, Reading, and Math Academy. This will be my 18th year teaching and my 15th year in NEISD. I've taught Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade.

I have 3 grown children who all went through NEISD schools, and my youngest is a Junior attending UTSA.  We love spending time with family in Galveston and Clearwater, and LOVE our beach time. I have a Scottie that we rescued a few years ago, and two cats that my daughter fostered and then adopted.

I’m excited to share my passion for learning and for fostering a positive, nurturing classroom environment. I believe in designing developmentally appropriate lessons that engage students through hands-on activities, allowing them to apply what they’ve learned in meaningful ways. Building a strong partnership between home and school is important to me, and I’m committed to working closely with you to support your child’s success. I look forward to an incredible school year as we collaborate to help your child grow academically and personally.
