Lauren Johnstone

Hello!
My name is Lauren Johnstone, and I’m thrilled to be teaching 1st grade at Northwood Elementary this year. I’m entering my 20th year in education, with many years of varied experience that help me create an engaging and supportive classroom. Over the years, I’ve taught 1st and 3rd grades, spent seven years as a reading specialist, and most recently served as the Targeted Support Teacher at Northwood. Here’s to a wonderful year of learning, growth, and connection! 

Fun Fact! I attended Northwood Elementary, Garner Middle School and MacArthur High School! I am very glad to be working at such a wonderful school.
