Welcome! I'm originally from Nashville, TN, but consider myself a Texan after living in Round Rock, TX for 8 years. My husband and I moved to San Antonio three years ago because he is attending the Long School of Medicine. I attended Hardin-Simmons University where I received my bachelor of behavioral science in mathematics education. This will be my fourth year teaching at Reagan! I'm passionate about mathematics and I look forward to teaching Algebra 1 and Algebra 2 Honors and inciting curiosity in my students. 

Outside of teaching, I love hiking at national and state parks, watching theatre productions, and reading at cozy coffee shops. My husband and I are often busy raising our cat-son, Mordecai, or going on walks.

I love mathematics because of how it manifests itself in nature and strengthens important independent thinking skills. I fully believe every single student is capable of growth and success. My classroom will always be a safe space for my students to learn.
