My name is Mr. Solis and I am very excited to kick off the 2025-2026 school year here at Lee High School! I was born and raised here in San Antonio, TX and have been fortunate enough to attend all NEISD schools growing up. I graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 2010. I am a proud alumni of the Honors College at The University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics in 2014. (Go Runners!) My wife and I became new parents to our beautiful baby boy Emmett on January 23, 2025. We also have a 4-year-old maltipoo that we spoil very much! My wife, Estefania, has been a NICU Nurse for 6 years at St. Luke's Baptist Hospital. We are both very passionate about our careers and love what we do!  This will be my 12th year teaching all together- 10 years at Churchill and 2 years at Lee. As with every year, I look forward to all the new students entering my classroom that I get to empower every day. The impact that I have had on my students in the past 12 years of teaching generated fun memories, created role-models both inside and outside the classroom, and changed the vision of mathematics many previously held prior to having me.
