Bryce Roddenberry was born and raised in Austin, TX, where he graduated from James Bowie High School in 2019. While at Bowie HS, Mr. Roddenberry played tuba in the concert ensembles and marching band, and he was also a member of the steel drum ensemble.

Mr. Roddenberry graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas State in 2023. While at Texas State University, he studied tuba with professor Raul Rodriguez and was a member of the Texas State Tuba/Euphonium Studio and performed with them at the TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association) convention in 2023. Mr. Roddenberry was also a member of the Texas State University Wind Symphony under the direction of Dr. Caroline Beatty and was a member of the Texas State University Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Jacob Harrison. Mr. Roddenberry also performed with the Bobcat Marching Band, where he was a section leader, the Bobcat Basketball Band, and the Ceremonial Brass Ensemble.

Mr. Roddenberry was a member of the Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps for the 2019 - 2022 seasons, and he served as the section leader from 2020-2022. Additionally, in his final season with the group, he received many distinguishing awards, including the Crusader of the Year. He still works with the organization as a member of the Brass Faculty. Mr. Roddenberry has also worked with many schools in the Austin area as a Marching Band Technician and Masterclass Instructor. In the fall of 2023, he completed his student teaching in Eanes ISD at Hill Country Middle School, under the supervision of Mrs. Kristin Hames, and Bridge Point Elementary School, under the supervision of Mrs. Patience Jones.

In his free time, Mr. Roddenberry enjoys running, watching sports, and spending time with his mom, dad, and sister.
