Hello! This is my fourth year of teaching and I could not be more excited. I am so happy I started my teaching career here at Garner Middle School. I am born and raised in San Antonio. I graduated from MacArthur High School. I then went on to earn my Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in English at Texas Lutheran University.

I teach 8th grade English. I coach Cross Country, Basketball and Track at Garner. I am also the lead sponsor of National Junior Honor Society (NJHS). 

On my free time I love to read, spend time with family and friends, and watch movies. My favorite movie series to watch are Harry Potter, Marvel, and Star Wars. I enjoy fishing, making crafts, and listening to podcast. I also love spending time with my adorable, loving, and very energetic cats Weasley, Maple, and Stella. 

This is going to be a great year. I can't wait to start making memories!
