Hello!

I'm Alex Meschwitz. I'm an 8th grade science teacher. I've been teaching at Garner since 2017, and I coached tennis at Garner for six years. 

I was born in Houston, TX and moved to San Antonio when I was in 6th grade. I lived in California and Ohio before I made it back to the great state of Texas. I am a product of NEISD. I attended Bush Middle School and Reagan High School. I was a two-sport athlete in my high school days (football and track). I went to UTSA and graduated with a B.S. in Kinesiology. I did my student teaching here at NEISD as well at Bulverde Creek Elementary and Johnson High School. Before I began teaching, I spent two years as the KIN site director here at Garner.

 I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach your children this year!
