Ms. Amanda Boes

Welcome to our 5th grade class webpage! I am thrilled to be your teacher this year and wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.

My name is Ms. Amanda Boes and I have been a teacher for 17 wonderful years. Before joining NEISD, I also had the privilege of teaching pre-K for 5 years, which allowed me to nurture the early development of young minds. Teaching is my passion, and I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for each of my students.

Outside of the classroom, I have a loving family that includes my two amazing adult children, ages 19 and 25. They have been a constant source of inspiration and joy in my life. Additionally, I share my home with a mischievous feline companion named Yiddle.

When I'm not teaching, you can often find me exploring the great outdoors. Camping, hiking, backpacking, and engaging in various outdoor activities are some of my favorite pastimes. I believe that nature provides us with endless opportunities for learning and growth.

As we embark on this new school year, I am genuinely excited to get to know each and every one of you. My goal is to create a classroom community where we support and uplift one another, fostering a love for learning and personal growth. Together, we will embark on an incredible journey of discovery, exploration, and achievement.
