Karol McGregor

Hello!  My name is Karol McGregor and I am the D/HH teacher for 2nd and 3rd graders.  I am excited to work with young students with reading, writing and math!  My goal is to help students believe in themselves!

I grew up in the Valley area (Donna, Texas) and spent my adulthood in Austin/San Antonio area.  I am deaf and have been in Deaf Education for more than 16 years in various positions.  I graduated from UTSA (University of Texas at San Antonio) with a Bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Elementary Education) and got my Master's from Texas Woman's University in Deaf Education.  Not only am I deaf, I also have a deaf son.  I believe deaf individuals can achieve so much!
