Hi! My name is Elizabeth Stitz, and I am very excited to be part of the kindergarten team at Oak Meadow Elementary.

I am a 2003 graduate of Ronald Reagan High School. I love getting the chance to serve the community where I grew up! After graduating from high school, I moved to Lubbock to attend Texas Tech University. While at Texas Tech, I earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. Once I graduated, I was eager to move back to San Antonio to begin teaching. I taught kindergarten for 7 years in another district and came to Oak Meadow in the fall of 2014. This will be my 12th year at Oak Meadow. I taught second grade for 8 years. This will be my 4th year back in Kindergarten!  Year 19 will be a fun one! I believe in creating a classroom culture of respectful students, so infinite learning can take place. We will practice using the 7 Habits of Happy Kids to help create an environment of ubiquitous learners and leaders. I am truly looking forward to a fun and exciting year of learning and making new discoveries!
