Hi there, amazing families!
I’m Jamie Davila, and I’m so excited to be teaching 2nd grade this year at Regency Place! This is my 3rd year in the classroom, and after starting in 4th grade, I found my happy place with the little ones. I’m also a proud (and loud!) member of the Green House of Courage: ISIBINDI—aka the best HOUSE ever! 💚

I was born in Oklahoma but raised right here in San Antonio, Texas. I graduated from UTSA with my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, after spending a full year student teaching in 1st grade (and loving every minute of it!).

This year is extra special for me—my husband and I welcomed our sweet baby boy, Nicolas, in January 2025! 💙 We also have a little zoo at home: 2 cats (Nola and Sage) and 2 dogs (Bacon and Pepper)—they keep life interesting!

When I’m not at school, I love reading a good book (My goal is 75 books this year!), experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time with my family—especially now with baby snuggles in the mix!
