Ty Manning
Hello Johnson Jaguars. My name is Ty Manning and I have been teaching here at CTJ since 2022. I teach World Geography and AP Human Geography.
I come from Wimberley Texas, where I graduated High School in 2015. I came to San Antonio to finish a degree in History w/ a teaching certification at UTSA. I have a deep passion for history and many of the different social sciences. When I'm not teaching I love to spend time playing guitar and watching my favorite shows & movies on MAX. I love listening to Rap, Rock, and R&B music. Some of my favorite artists include Metallica, Drake, SZA, Lauryn Hill, and Travis Scott. I'm also heavily interested in financial literacy & investing.
I look forward to this school year, as it will be a new experience for me. Education is very important to me, so I have all your best interests in mind for students to succeed, as it opens many doors. I know this will be a great year and I intend to be here for many more.
