Howdy and welcome to my staff page:
I graduated from Taft High School in 2002, and I graduated with a Bachelor in Science in Bioenvironmental Science from Texas A&M in 2006. Gig 'Em Aggies! After college, I started my teaching career at Madison in 2007, and have been a proud member of the Madison High School Science Team for the past 18 years. I have taught Biology, Environmental Science, Astronomy, and Physics. I also coached at Madison for 5 years in track, cross country, and soccer.
The past six years I have been the proud sponsor of the Interact Club, the high school version of Rotary Club International. Interact is a community service organization on campus. It is a passion of mine to serve our community in and out of the classroom. Last year alone, our club participated in 53 events including: Hug Me Ink, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Special Reach, San Antonio Diaper Bank, San Antonio Food Bank, St. Margret's Episcopal Church Pumpkin Patch, Children's Hunger Fund, just to name a few. Last year, Interact was named Best in District out of the 55 groups in our region.
I have been married ten years to my wonderful husband Cole, and we were blessed to have our son Michael in 2018. We love to camp and travel together, but my favorite thing is to spend my time at home playing with Michael. I look forward to meeting you and teaching you Physics this year.
