"San Antonio then and now" is exaclty how it sounds, a then and now project. It gives students the opportunity to study a business place or structure from San Antonio and compare the establishment past and present. This project gave us, as students of history, a grasp on how the past truly affects our lives.  Students studied topics ranging from big businesses like HEB and USAA, to major theme parks like Fiesta Texas and Sea World. All of this ties into the overall concept of the project and TEKS, on economic issues of past and present. Students have produced some great work the past few years.
