Hello! Thank you for visiting my official NEISD digital space. This will be my 27th year in education. I taught 1st grade for three years, 2nd grade for six years, and this will be my eighteenth year teaching 3rd grade. I am originally from El Paso, Texas but have been here in San Antonio since 2002. Teaching is my passion and in my classroom we learn how to become one big family that always looks out for one another. We learn the importance of responsibility, how to show compassion, and the love of learning new things. 

   I am married to a wonderful man named Raul and together we have a beautiful little girl named Natalia Marie who is twelve years old and in seventh grade at Tejeda. I also have a beautiful step daughter named Kirstin who is thirty-two years old and a spoiled Rottweiler named Claire Bear. When I am not busy teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the movies, cooking, baking, running, and competing in archery as a family.

   I am excited to be your third grade teacher and I can't wait to start our amazing year together! Go Eagles!!! 🦅
