Mrs. Cameron Schmidt

Hello All!

My name is Cameron Schmidt and this will be my 6th year teaching in NEISD. I started in NEISD as a PE Assistant six years ago at Encino Park Elementary, spent three years as the PE teacher at Oak Grove Elementary, and am now happy to be back "home" once again at Encino Park. 

While attending Texas A&M-San Antonio, where I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Kinesiology degree, I was fortunate enough to be able to complete my student training in NEISD. I got to see what an amazing district it is and have decided I never want to leave.

My wonderful husband is an Athletic Trainer at a local high school, and we have three boys, all two years apart. 

My goal for Encino Park's Physical Education program is to inspire a lifetime of health and wellness. During our days, we spend time doing a wide range of fun activities, learning new sports, and developing leadership skills.

In addition to PE, I serve as a sponsor for the Safety Patrols. Safety Patrols are students who are picked to be leaders of the school. They have the honor of taking care of our flags, assisting teachers, and maintaining campus wide safety.

12:00-12:50: Third Grade

12:55-1:45: Fourth Grade

1:50-2:40: Fifth Grade
