    State law requires students in Texas schools to be immunized against certain vaccine-preventable diseases. Getting your child vaccinated not only protects your child’s health, but also that of the community.

  • Screening Information

    All new to NEISD 6th and 8th graders will be screened for vision and hearing; All 7th graders will be screened for vision, hearing and acanthosis nigricans; All 8th grade boys will be screened for scoliosis; All 7th grade girls will be screened for scoliosis.

School nurses have the professional education and expertise to function successfully in the separate complete systems of education and health care.
