APPLY HERE BEGINNING OCTOBER 1ST!
Incoming 9th Grade Applicants
The application window for first-year students entering ISA in the fall of 2026 opens on October 1, 2025, and closes on January 19, 2026.
Applicants must fill out the 9th Grade Application, including answers to the three short answer questions* (found on the application):
- What are your major interests?
- Why are you interested in coming to The International School of the Americas?
- What gifts or talents do you bring to The International School of the Americas?
*For the application to be completed, these questions MUST be answered (one paragraph each). However, the content of applicants' answers does not determine their chance of acceptance, which is determined by lottery. A student's responses to these questions are necessary because they assist their advisor in getting to know the student.

Shadowing Program Overview
We are excited to showcase our amazing school community to potential students and their families. Located below is all the necessary information about our shadowing program.
-
What:
Students and parents are invited to ISA for a comprehensive experience. The event begins with a brief information session. Students will then attend ISA classes, while parents tour the campus and engage in a Q&A session with ISA faculty.
Why:
The shadow program allows interested students to experience a typical school day at ISA before deciding to apply. Parents also benefit by gaining insights into our school's environment by touring the facilities and meeting faculty members.
Who:
The program is open to students interested in enrolling as freshman at ISA. However, a separate session is available to current high school students and their parents interested in transferring to ISA prior to their sophomore and junior years. Regardless of the session, parents are encouraged to attend alongside their children.
