Hello and welcome to STEM English II!  I am a graduate of UTSA - Bachelor of Arts in English and Master of Arts in Education Leadership. I have 20 years experience in the education world. Fourteen years were spent teaching English at the secondary level. My first teaching job was actually at my high school in Harlingen, Texas. 

During my middle school and high school years, my home was Harlingen, but I am originally from a small town in West Texas named Marfa. I have two teenagers: Mikel (15) and Izara (17). A little about me and my likes...Spending time at the beach and river are some of my favorite things to do during the summer. I like trying new recipes, visiting museums, and I enjoy hand lettering/calligraphy. 

I will be teaching English II Honors/GT this year.  Yeah to great new 2023-2024 school year!
