Hello, I am Stephanie Kohn, a 6th - 8th grade Reading Acceleration teacher at Tex Hill Middle School. I am so excited about the 2023-2024 school year!  I can't wait to meet all my new friends.  :)  This year marks my 21st year teaching. I've taught 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. I love middle school and North East!  I was a student in the district and graduated from MacArthur High School.  It is wonderful to be able to teach here as well.  For my bachelor's degree, I attended Southwest Texas State University, and I received my masters from UTSA.

I have four children:  Ellie, Rhett, Blakely, and Carly.  Ellie is entering 12th grade at Johnson High School, Rhett is in 8th grade at Tex Hill, Blakely is entering 1st grade at Cibolo Green Elementary, and Carly will start Pre-K.  I love spending time with family and friends, going to movies, shopping, eating out, traveling, and relaxing.  I can't wait to get to know each of my new kiddos.  We are going to have a great year!
