Hello! Welcome to our class. I am proud to be part of the Royal Ridge family since it opened in 2002. I am looking forward to this school year. I was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, where I still visit my family and friends. I attended the University of Texas at Brownsville and obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a major in English and a minor in Biology in 1998. My career started 25 years ago. I began teaching 4th Grade Grammar/Writing at R.L. Martin Elementary School in 2000. In 2002, I moved to San Antonio and joined the Royal Ridge family. I have 21 years of experience teaching 4th grade and I have looped with my class to 5th grade three times.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, scrapbooking (making cards mostly now) and spending time with my family and friends both far and near. I hope to keep you posted on the latest and greatest as much as possible on Class Dojo. Let's make this year a memorable one!
