I’m very excited and honored to be a part of the Jackson-Keller Elementary family!! 

Biography: My name is Tori Manley, and I am a Reading Instructional Coach. This will be my 12th year as an elementary school teacher and eighth year at Jackson-Keller. I am a graduate of Texas A&M University- San Antonio for both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. I grew up in the NEISD community (Lee HS cluster), where I went to Olmos Elementary, Nimitz Middle School, and graduated from Lee HS in 2001. Teaching has been a passion of mine since I was in elementary school and continues to be the highlight of my life each day.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my amazing family and friends, hanging out at the dog park with my dog (Autumn), going out to eat (I love Italian food), reading, and watching the latest TV shows and movies. Some of my favorite things: I love coffee, Reese’s peanut butter cups, Dr. Pepper, Bill Millers, Chick Fil-A, and going to Target :) 

Educational Philosophy:  I feel that every child is a unique individual who needs a caring but stimulating environment to grow and mature emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. My goal as an educator is to teach our children how to become those lifelong learners and really enjoy the learning process, while keeping a safe and engaging environment that allows the student to take charge of their own learning.
