Ms. Cabaza

Welcome to Kindergarten! I am Ms. Cabaza and I am so excited to be your teacher this year!

I graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown Tx, and received my degree in Elementary and Special Education. I completed my clinical teaching hours in Pre-K and Early Childhood Special Education. This will be my first year teaching.

I am from San Antonio Tx, and I am so excited to be back home! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and exploring new and different spots around the city. I love to play guitar and sing and oftentimes use music to aid instruction. I also enjoy quilting and creating different arts and crafts!

As an educator, I want to empower my students to ask questions and take risks. I believe that all students should have ownership in their learning. The classroom therefore needs to be a safe learning environment where students feel comfortable to to take those academic risks. I hope to create strong, confident, students who are passionate about learning!

I look forward to getting to know you all better and can't wait to begin the new school year!
