The Kids' Involvement NetworkThe Kids' Involvement Network (KIN) provides afterschool enrichment activities and supervision for elementary and middle school students in a way that will improve their attitudes, grades, and behavior so that they will be positive members of the school and community. KIN begins as soon as school dismisses. The afternoon activities consist of a healthy snack, socialization, and recreational activities such as recess, group sports, and health and wellness programming. Homework time is a main focus of our programs and is structured to assist students in a way that will benefit all learning styles. Enrichment activities are conducted every day to enhance learning. The evening wraps up with dismissal at 6:30 PM.

Building a Community for GrowthWhen you choose to live in this community, you choose the elementary, middle and high schools that your child will attend. An elementary school feeds into the middle school down the street, and the middle school feeds into the neighborhood high school. This alignment allows academic leaders to ensure that the foundational curriculum prepares children as they progress through the grades. Counselors, teachers, specialists, Fine Arts educators, and coaches become aware of children advancing through the cluster schools and prepare for their needs, gifts, and talents.

What does “media release” mean?Giving your child media release means teachers will be able to take and publish photos of them for the
classroom and school websites. Teachers often feature student photos on the web to show parents what is going on in the classroom. Media
release covers functions that are photographed or video recorded for the NEISD website. If they do not have this release, their photo or video
 cannot be used.

 information.)

office at any time. They will be delivered to the classroom at the end of the day. Parents may not
