Welcome to Our Classroom!

Hello! My name is Maryann Perkins, and I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher this year at Olmos Elementary. I teach 4th grade and I truly love working with young learners as they grow, discover, and build confidence in themselves.

I have 14 years of experience in elementary education. I have a Bachelor's degree in Spanish, a Master's degree in Reading, and ESL Teacher Certification from the University of Texas at Permian Basin. I believe that every child can succeed when they feel safe, supported, and encouraged. My classroom is a place where we celebrate effort, kindness, curiosity, and progress—big and small!

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, going for walks, and spending time with my family.
