Welcome to Vineyard Ranch! 

Hi there!

I grew up in sunny California and moved to Texas from Colorado with my parents back in 1996. I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Southwest Texas State (now Texas State) in 2000, and later received my Master’s in Educational Leadership from UTSA in 2005.

This year marks my 24th year in education—and what a journey it's been! I’ve taught 2nd grade for 10 years, Kindergarten for 2, 1st grade for 7, 3rd grade for 2, and now I’m excited to be starting my 3rd year in 4th grade. I absolutely love being part of the Vineyard Ranch family!

Outside the classroom, I’m a proud wife and mom. My awesome husband, Michael, and I have a beautifully blended family. My bonus son, Patric, is 23 and works at HEB while attending community college. Our oldest daughter, Bella, is 19 and heading into her 2nd year of college in New York City. Olivia is 13 and rocking 8th grade, and our youngest, Carly, is 10 and starting 5th grade. Our family is surrounded by love from three sets of grandparents—we’re so lucky to have such a big support system!

Life is definitely busy, but I make sure to carve out time for myself too. I love dining out, decorating, shopping, hanging with friends, scrolling Pinterest, and getting my nails done. Oh,—and I love to travel! This summer, we road-tripped out west and spent most of our time enjoying the beautiful weather in California.
