Tina Pagan

Hello and welcome!  I'm an art teacher with 16 years of teaching experience, which includes 5 years as a proud Falcon at Krueger Middle School and 11 years in elementary education with North East Independent School District, SAISD, and the private sector of the Archdiocese of San Antonio and San Juan, Puerto Rico. I am deeply grateful for every stage of my teaching journey and to the countless students who have inspired me along the way.

My education in art began at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas.  I attended The Art Institute of Houston for visual communications and I received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Incarnate Word.  My time at these various institutions is where I developed a strong foundation in both studio art and teaching practices and my belief that art is a vital form of communication and expression for all learners.

In my classroom, I aim to create a space where students feel safe to take creative risks, explore their own artistic voices, and gain confidence in their ideas.  Whether we're working with traditional media, mixed materials, or collaborative projects, my goal is to foster curiosity, skill-building, and joy through the creative process.  I am truly honored to be part of this creative journey with my students every day.
