Mr. Daulton Mattingly

Mr. Mattingly is a passionate music educator who has been teaching in public schools for 5 years. Mr. Mattingly has been a part of the El Dorado team since March 2023 and loves being a member of the school community. In Mr. Mattingly's class, students will sing, dance, play instruments, experience new styles of music, and develop fundamental musical skills. Additionally, Mr. Mattingly leads the El Dorado Music Club, an extra-curricular performance-based ensemble that meets after school once a week. Mr. Mattingly is a proud alumnus of The University of Texas at San Antonio, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Music in May 2019. Outside of the classroom, Mr. Mattingly is an active performer that plays drum set for jazz, cumbia, and rock bands. Mr. Mattingly finds great joy in sharing his love of music and cannot wait to see your child in his classroom!
