Mr. Joseph Hernandez

My name is Joseph Hernandez, and I am so excited to join the Woodstone Faculty as the new music and choir teacher! I was born and raised here in San Antonio, so it is so special for me to be able to make a difference in the community.

I attended St. Mary's University from 2015-2019, earning my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music with a teaching certificate. I then continued my education at Kent State University from 2020-2022 as a graduate assistant for the bands and earned my Master of Music Degree in Conducting with a concentration in Wind Band Conducting.

Although this is my first year as a public school teacher, I know that my passion lies with education and, specifically, music education. I will work diligently to always improve as an educator for both myself and my students.
