My name is Jeorgina Gonzalez, and I am the Churchill Cluster Family Engagement liaison. Whether it be volunteering at your student’s school, learning English, or attending one of our many classes/workshops, I am here to offer opportunities for all families to be more involved in your student’s educational journey. In addition, I can connect you to community resources, including counseling services, clothing/shoes, food pantries, utility/rent assistance, holiday assistance and others.

Mi nombre es Jeorgina González y soy la Especialista de Familia del Grupo de Escuelas de Churchill. Mi función es estar al servicio de todas las familias. Ya sea para ser voluntario en la escuela de su estudiante, aprender inglés o asistir a una de las muchas clases/talleres disponibles, estoy aquí para ofrecer oportunidades para que todas las familias tengan una participación más activa en la educación de sus estudiantes. También puedo conectarlo con recursos en la comunidad incluyendo servicios de consejería, ropa/zapatos, despensas de alimentos, asistencia para servicios públicos/alquiler, entre otros.

  • Our Mission

    Family Engagement creates and sustains partnerships with students, families, and the community to ensure high levels of learning for all.

    Family Specialists

    Family Specialists are available to all NEISD families. They assist in various ways, such as:

    provide families with information from the district, community agencies, city and state institutions, and any other organizations that might benefit those with specific needs;

    • facilitate and conduct parent-education classes, counseling and mentoring;
    • assist students and families to reach their maximum educational benefits;
    • provide support to those who are in an emotional or financial crisis.

    Family Engagement Courses

    Family Engagement Course are free to all parents, grandparents, or community members. Participants are offered information on a wide variety of subjects.
