Miss Ana Alcocer

My name is Ana Alcocer, and I am proud to be a Colonial Hills Cougar! I am from Corsicana,TX and received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Tech University. Wreck'em!  I am certified to teach EC-6 and ESL Certified. This will be my third year as a classroom teacher! 

I have a true passion for teaching. I strive to create a welcoming community with a growth mindset in a positive and fun environment.

In my free time you will find me working out, cooking, playing soccer and winding down to watch a movie. Some fun facts are I LOVE sushi and ocean scents.

    8-8:30: Social Studies

    8:30-9: Reading Small Group

    9- 9:30 : Tier 3 Intervention

    9:30- 10:10: Reading Comprehension ( Whole Group)

    10:20- 11:10: Specials/Conference 

    11:10-11:20: SEL

    11:20- 11:50: Lunch

    11:50 - 12:20: Writers Workshop & Conventions cont.

    12:20-12:50: Math Whole Group

    12:50- 1:10: Tier 3 Math 

    1:10-1:40: Math Small Group

    1:40-2: Recess

    2-2:40: Science 

    2:40-3:10: Phonics

    3:10- 3:15 : Dismissal
