We are so fortunate here at Harris to offer a guitar class. The class is 1 semester and is meant to teach students with no guitar experience the basics. You will learn basic note reading skills, how to play melody lines on an acoustic guitar as well as some basic chords. Click here for the link to the Guitar Class Contract.

Guitar Class Supplies

Students will be required to purchase/rent the following items.

• Correct size instrument in good working condition with a case
• Guitar tuner (can be an app)
• Guitar picks (optional but recommended)
• Method book: Hal Leonard Guitar Method Book 1
• Pencil
• 1/2 inch 3-ring binder or pocketed folder with brads 
• Name tag on your case 
• Box of tissues (optional)
• 2 AAA batteries (optional)
