Morning Announcement Crew (4th Grade)

All 4th students will have an opportunity to submit an application and tryout during the month of November. The librarian will begin making announcements at the end of October and continue to remind students about the application deadline. Students who are chosen to be part of the Morning Announcement Crew will be notified no later than 1 week from the date of their tryout. Qualifications

Grades: A's & B's

Respectful- Good Conduct

Minimal to No Tardies

Must be at school no later than 7:20 a.m.

You will go directly to the library to practice and look over the morning announcements binder.

 Evaluation

You will be evaluated on the following:

• Application: on time and completed properly with detailed examples explaining why you are interested and why you would be good working in the position you are trying out for.
• Teacher recommendation
• Outgoing personality, ability to follow directions and work well with others
• Voice/Diction: words flow easily, clear speaking voice, good pronunciation
• Body Language: eye contact, facial communication, movement

 Note: If you are accepted on the morning announcement team you must be in the library no later than 7:20.  If you are safety patrol you will need to talk to Coach Bagnato about your duty times.
